But what then?

Loyalty is a trait that eludes me. I do not understand it. I live in fear of those who give their allegiance to any government, faith, school, team, tribe, job, political party, military, etc. If they are loyal to their institution and I am not, logic would dictate that they will turn on me if I threaten to teardown their institution; hence, all the religious and political wars throughout the ages.

Loyalty is nothing more than fear seeking support. If one is totally free, then they need not be loyal to anything but themselves. But since most are unable to totally live off the land individuality is almost impossible to achieve nowadays. I suppose the only way to escape "loyalty" is to die. But what then?
